Before studying art, I was a Russian interpreter, a journeyman carpenter, and Humane Society worker. My BFA from Boston University is in sculpture. I spent endless hours in Boston's many museums and special collections (such as the drawing collection at the Fogg Museum and the Boston Fine Art Museum). Since leaving art school, I've spent time as a restaurant designer, woodcarver and a house-husband. Now I am ejoying all my time as an artist. I have studied with lots of artists over the years, some of them famous. The ones I like best are Donna Howell-Sickles, Sally Strand, Desmond O'Hagan, Philip Guston and Harold Tovish. I now work and live in Colorado and continue to show locally and in national shows. My work is available through the Oakbrush Gallery in Beulah, Colorado.
